The EPFL Quantum Computing Association committee is proposing this year a quantum software hackathon, dedicated to the promotion and education of quantum computation and its ties to chemistry simulations. Organized over the 19th and 20th of November on EPFL campus in Lausanne, the event will welcome students from multiple institutions in Switzerland and will consist of a set of introductory talks on quantum computing and a final programming project defined in two parts: 1. A tutorial on quantum simulations, common to all participants and accessible to beginners in QC. 2. Original propositions to enhance results derived in the first part, subject to evaluation for a competition among the participants. Whether you are a beginner or you are already engaged in quantum computing, do not miss this occasion to meet experts of this exciting field! Participation costs: 15 CHF If you want to participate, please fill in the registration form: https://forms.gle/Sn4nWo2BUWttHvLM6 We look forward to meeting you in November! |
